RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION SUMMER 2010

During the summer, you can stay at university halls of residence while you study at Oxford House College. This year, we are pleased to be able to offer rooms in each of the following locations. (Please note, the dates shown are provisional and the residence prices quoted and options available are subject to change).

Crescent Hall (in Crescent Road, Oxford OX4)

This modern premises accommodates students from Oxford Brookes University during the university term time. It is located in a quiet residential area, about 20 minutes by bus from the city centre.

It consists of flatlets of 6/7 single rooms which share toilets & showers & a kitchen. All rooms have a wash basin. Bed linen is provided and is changed weekly (towels are not provided). Rooms are cleaned at least twice a week.There is a laundry on site – you will need to pay to use this. Cooking utensils, crockery & cutlery are provided in the kitchen.

Rooms are available from13th June – 5th September 2010, on a self-catering basis only at £130.00 per week (and must be paid for in whole weeks, regardless of the leaving day in the final week). A minimum age of 16 is required for this residence.

William R Miller Building (in Dawson Street, Oxford OX4)

This modern premises accommodates students from St Edmund Hall, one of the colleges of Oxford University, during the university term time. It is located not far from Magdalen Bridge and is within easy walking distance of the city centre (approx. 10 minutes).

The residence consists of flatlets of 4/5 single rooms which share a kitchen/living room. All rooms have private bath/shower andWC and Internet access. Bed linen is provided but not towels. Bed linen is changed weekly. Rooms are cleaned twice a week & waste bins will be emptied daily, if left outside
the room. Laundry cards can be purchased for £10 and would need to be topped up as and when required. Cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery & tea towels are provided in the kitchens.

Rooms are available from 18th July – 29th August 2010, on a self-catering basis only at £235.00 per week (and must be paid for in whole weeks, regardless of the leaving day in the final week). Shared rooms may be available – please enquire to the school. A minimum age of 18 is required for this residence (unless accompanied by an adult).

If keys are lost, or not returned when leaving, there will be a charge of £35. This applies to both residences.
